Buck has written four books and describes himself as a story teller whose writings come from firsthand knowledge of the topic. His latest book Where’s Rick?, is about a Vietnam Vet who returns from the war only to go missing ten months later. It’s a gripping story with a shocking outcome.
His third book Behind the Walls, tells the story of an evolving industry that started from scratch to become over a three-billion-dollar industry. The research for the book included talking to over a hundred people who were connected with the industry. It’s a fascinating story about the people who built the industry.
Buck’s second book, The Game of Sales, is a business book based on his experience as a sales manager. It delves deeply into the business-to-business environment of sales reps and sales management. His first book was released in the fall of 2015. First and Thirty is centered on a high school football team in the south during the 1970 season and how they dealt with the challenges of the time.
In addition to writing, Buck is a speaker and a business consultant. Carlton “Buck” Buchanan was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BS Degree in Business Administration. After graduation, he moved to Atlanta and began a business career that spans 40 years including ten years in California. He now lives in Marietta, GA.
